Self Improvement...

Focus on Finding Yourself

There is no magic formula for Finding Someone. So why not focus on finding yourself? Rethink your goals and rearrange your priorities. If your current top priority is to Find Someone, push that down lower on the list. Instead, work on identifying your interests and organize your leisure activities accordingly.

If your primary objective is self-improvement, you'll never be disappointed. Here's how I put it when I was urging a friend to join the gym with me: "At worst, we'll have great thighs. At best, we'll meet some guys. We can't lose."

Get out and learn new skills or do things you already enjoy doing. Don't get involved in an activity that bores you just because you hope to Find Someone.

If you're a man and you're into fitness, take an aerobics class instead of pounding away in solitude on the treadmill. Aerobics classes always attract more women than they do men. Consider taking courses in art or classical music appreciation. Women are drawn to these kinds of things. Take a gourmet cooking class. Clubs for book lovers or poetry lovers are great places to find intelligent women. You can't spend all your time hanging out at the nightclub and then wonder why you only meet Bar Bimbos.

Women should add weightlifting to their fitness repertoire. The men are out there pumping iron, so why not join them? If you're into antiques or crafts, consider a woodworking class. This is Guy Territory. If you and your girlfriends have a mild interest in sports, develop it by attending pro games. Not all sports lovers belong to the Large-Bellied Beer Swiller branch of the evolutionary tree. Join your company softball or basketball team - or organize one. We're talking Guy Bonanza here.

Do you like camping, hiking, skiing, boating? Bird-watching? Bicycling? There are many clubs for outdoors enthusiasts. Are you interested in animal rights, the environment, helping the disadvantaged? Volunteer your time to a deserving organization.

There is an aspect of yourself, and of your life, that may seem at one point that it will hit you. You need to find yourself at this point when your faith falls weak and where your trust gets shaken. At this point of time, you feel deficient in our life and you lack the confidence in yourself.

Follow your fear as it will lead to path of self discovery for you. Don’t get panic by the sheer thought that nobody loves you. If you have developed a thought process that nobody understands you and nobody loves you, it is simply because you have always struggled to get equality in your relationship. At this point of time, you need to understand yourself properly and this will help you bring in equality and harmony in your relationships.

There's no law that says single people must be miserable. If you get out there and live, you'll make friends of both sexes in the process. The less contrived your approach, the more likely you are to be socially successful. The less desperate you are, the more attractive you'll appear. And the more you focus on self-development, the happier and more satisfied you become.
